What awaited them at the end of their journey was something they could never have expected. It was a day that would change their lives forever. Set after the fight with Upper Moon 6. Tanjirou has recovered from the battle and is soon sent back out into the battle field for a mission along side Kanao where the two encounter a nightmarish opponent. Eventually the two demon slayer's goals shift from killing to surviving. All the while, Shinobu and Giyuu struggle to find their students and bring them home safely.
