Reporter Kara Danvers(also supergirl) and business woman Lena Luthor have been friends for years, both have hidden feelings for each other but are unsure if the other one feels the same. Eventually the two acknowledge their feelings, everyone around them approves but Lena's Family is less accepting and tries to separate her from Kara. Dont read until you've watched up to the season 6 mid season finale of supergirl!!!!! SPOILERS

When Kara met Lena Luthor her whole world got turned upside down. The attraction between them was almost immediate. And to make matters stranger Lena carries a secret of her own.

Kara Danvers also known as supergirl fights to save her true love. Lena on the other hand is still angry with Kara for lying to her. This creates distance between the two. They both admit their feelings after Lena experiencing a near death experience.

After Kara reveal her identity as Supergirl (on season 6), the reporter tries to get used her new life without secrets and her insecure to face the consequences of her choice. As the National City aware of Kara's powers and succefull missions, the world build more barriers between Kara and Lena for reasons they thought were over. But the question is: Can a Luthor and a Super really be together? What are these feelings burning when they look each other?

A shocked and scared Lena asks Kara to walk her home after Kara saved her from getting robbed. Lena wants to get to know her better, so she can figure out a way to thank her for being her hero. After a short embarrassing phase, where they behave like teens, they become friends. A long and rocky path follows until they finally realize their feelings for each other. But confessing such feelings to your best friend can be risky.

Alex is starting out a new relationship with Kelly. Lena finds out about Kara being Supergirl. Maggie Sawyer is back.
