One does not strive to be the monsters they create. One does not want to be what they were made to be. You don't want to live the life that was chiseled in stone for you. Yet we all live these predetermined lives. Our surroundings shape us, weather us away like the river does to stone. Our lives make our legacy for us, without us ever realizing it. These are the lies fed to us, the tapestries woven in our minds telling us not the strive for more. Oriel Kelcie strives to be more in this life woven into place for her. Society has made a set place for people such as her, and this place typically resembles something close to a jail cell. Yet The depriveties of war, and the need for knowledge drive Oriel to push forward despite the social constructs pushing against her. On a warm may afternoon Oriel Kelcie follows her daily routine in hopes of scrounging up enough money to pay for her weeks meals, but when met with law enforcement her likelihood of moving any further forward in life once they find her secrets seems unlikely. Yet much to her astonishment a dazzling pickpocket charming both Oriel and the General saving Oriels life, yet within a mere ten minutes he once again takes it away from her. In a life full of Crime, kidnappings, Murder, And mystery, making it much farther past her place in life is unlikely for Oriel, yet she continues to push forward in the web of lies laced out in front of her simply waiting to be detangled. Join me In Tapestries of lies, a story full of world building, mysteries, thrills, and so much more. This is only the first draft of the Tapestry of Lies, and there's so much more to come. Written by yours truly, Froggo.

♥ Astrid ♥ Gunshots. Karate moves. Flipping through languages so fast that my brain struggled to catch up. These had been as familiar to me in the six years I had been in training as a school bell or sound of a teacher's voice might be to anyone else. At sixteen, I had seen more death than I cared to talk about. But what could I say? That was what life as a teenage spy was. And as part of America's little-known espionage agency Delta, that was what I had become accustomed to. But I couldn't have known that things were about to change. A new assignment came up, and though I was with people I had known for years, this one would change things so that my life would never be the same. A drug dealer, working undercover in France. People from my past, popping up in the most unexpected places. And the boy with the blue eyes, who could be completely for me or utterly against me; often, I didn't know which. This was one assignment that would stay with me forever. But, of course, I didn't know that as I headed in...to pure Hell. Welcome to Delta. Now that you're here, good luck getting out.

*This is a sequel to Toy Soldiers* It didn't surprise me when I got caught by a third party while I was on the run. They tied me up and put a hood over my head; I lost my sense of direction somewhere along the way. When we reached our destination, it was very cold. They held me a hundred feet up above a sparkling blue ocean, covered in frost, and they asked me who I was. At first, I had nothing to say. And then I smiled, and I told them, "My name is Caitie Alastair, and I'm going to watch the world burn." They pushed me off the edge, and I fell through the frigid air, falling toward thin ice, thinking about a boy I once knew. And then the world went cold.

On my first day of high school, they tested our abilities-they wanted to see who would outlast the others, and who would be outlasted. For hours and hours, we gave it all we had. When they came back into the room to give us our scores, we were put into two groups: the ones to be trained as infiltrative spies, and the others to be trained as assassins. I was picked to be an assassin, and later, when the members of my group turned to face the man who would mentor us, I watched as a slow, wicked smirk spread across his face. He looked at us, and he said, "Game on." This man was Shawn Masterson, and this man was a murderer.
