Post NWH; fixit. In the weeks and months following the spell, Peter's life has been... suboptimal. Nothing particularly terrible has happened (yet), but every day he goes longer and longer without meaningful personal contact, he feels like he loses a part of himself. He's really not sure how much longer he can keep this up. Meanwhile, MJ and Ned keep having weird experiences. Memories seem to flash and flutter, disappearing before they can grasp them, and it's getting increasingly annoying. It feels like they're missing something big, but with their friendship intact, senior year coming to a close, and the looming promise of MIT in the fall, they can't tell what it is. Between the mystery of Peter Parker (the coffee boy who keeps showing up at her job), the unreliability of her own memories, and the stress of her school life, MJ doesn't quite know how to feel. But she's always loved a good mystery, and Peter Parker certainly is one.

(Part 1 of my saving and raising a spider series.) Peter's had a rough life. Between having mad scientists for parents, getting bullied on a daily basis and keeping his identity as Spider-Man a secret it's no wonder he gets stressed. After his parents were killed and he was sent to live with his aunt and uncle his life got better, then his uncle was murdered and everything went downhill from there. Luckily he's got Tony as his undeclared pseudo father and the avengers who've taken him in as a part of their dangerous yet loving family.

Peter never grew up with Uncle Ben and Aunt May. He grew up with HYDRA, trained and brainwashed to be even better then the Winter Soldier. He spends ten years with HYDRA, being their weapon. He's lost all hope that he would ever escape, but maybe a sliver of hope resurfaces when the Avengers are unknowingly sent to retrieve Peter. Since the events at Homecoming Peter hadn't been the same. He began to remember things from the past that he'd worked so long and hard to forget. At first no one really noticed, except Tony. When May leaves the state for a six month work trip Peter is left with Tony Stark. Who soon realises that the Peter he got to know wasn't the real Peter, just someone he made up to show everyone that he was fine. Though something that's about to happen will change him completely. Will what's about to break him push him too far to come back from? Will he accept help? Can he come back from it? Will he even want to?

Aunt May died while Peter was in school, taking away the last person on his family tree. Peter doesn't want to go into the system, he feels like he's being forced to. So when there's no one left to save the day, he turns to the only person he feels like he has left. Peter has been tortured and experimented on for the last three months and he sadly lost his memory of his Adoptive family and parts of his past. Peter had slowly gained a new trait that scares him but that pleased the men with the scary smiles. The only thing getting Peter through this was the thought of a blurred faces of a group of men and three women. What will happen to Peter? Will he return to his lost family?
