First, she had an emergancy c-section and second, she's dreading being there and dealing with Gina. She refuses to hold te baby a day later becuase she's too worried about Gina. The baby's not hers yet she's the one feeding her. That all changed when they get a DNA test back revealing that Nina ad Richard are actually the biological parents. Nina was not ready for this yet the more time she spends with Hayley, the more attatched she ges although she tries not to.
