I don't own any of these characters! The story also is slightly different than the actual plot of Steven Universe. Our OC's are the main characters, and it switches P.O.V between our characters. What could possibly happen if a Sapphire loved a peridot, or if a Pearl loved a Amethyst? Or if there was new crystal gems?? TW abuse, touchy subjects and possible gore.

(Human Highschool AU) Lapis Lazuli, an upbeat girl with a bubbly personality, loves water the beach. Lapis is a fun person who has a bunch of friends. Peridot Diamond, a nerd, a geek, an intelligent girl. But that did not come without a cost. And the price was one that can bring anyone down.

Lapis was new to Beach City, as well as going to college. She wasn't one for making friends, but was drawn in by Peridot.

(Y/N) had to move to Beach City when their parents were having a rough patch, so they sent (Y/N) to their Uncle's house. But what the Uncle didn't know about was (Y/N)'s strange 'birth defect' that seemed to attract weirdness to him. Will (Y/N)'s time in Beach City be like every other day? Or will something happen that will change his life forever?

Everyone knows Steven can't keep secrets. The kid sucks at lying. But... who else is there to go to? Garnet? Peridot? Bismuth? What sucks about having a crush that'll never like you is that you keep hoping that they will, but they never do. And only one person knows how to help with this kind of thing. Someone in a relationship. Someone that sucks at lying.

Pearl tells Amethyst how she really feels about her fight with Garnet, among other things...
