They call me a fool for falling in love. They say I'm a cautionary tale; a tragedy. They point at the burns, red and ugly and snaking down my arm. If only they knew how I threw my head back and laughed as I soared, tasting freedom sweeter than the nectar of the Gods. How could I have been a tragedy when my bliss was so fervent that I had become blind to the pain? I was always meant to fall. I wouldn't have rather fallen for anyone else.

sometimes in the dead of night we come across the deepest and most reflective thoughts, and however involuntary these may be, they are extremely complex. And that's what I want to share with you, I'm not a poet or writer but I think any thought is valid, because it's what defines us.

Nico regretted one thing about his absence from Camp Half-Blood; not talking to Will Solace before he departed, leaving Will to think that he'd abandoned the Mortal World for the Underworld. Owing Will an explanation, he heads to Camp Half-Blood for New Year with Percy and Leo, hoping to at least talk to the Son of Apollo. And who knows, maybe it really will be a new year, new him. (A one-shot based in the little AU universe that my story The Missing Hero is set in, explaining how Will and Nico got together in that 'verse.)

I loved him once. Perhaps that is all I should say. But how can one forget the warmth of that touch, the light of those eyes? 'Hyacinthus' was more than a fleeting moment of beauty-he was a melody I could never stop playing, even in grief. They ask me about love, as if it is a simple thing. But I have known it- both in its purest joy and its deepest sorrow." - Apollo But how do you reconcile the fierce passion of a love that has been silenced? And how does a god carry the weight of a love that will never fade, even as time marches on? In A Final Lyric, memory echoes through the petals of a flower, through the notes of a song, and through the very heart of a god. It is is a lament , a song of Love woven with gods and mortals, memory and myth, and the eternal question: " Can love, once lost, ever truly be forgotten? "

Shakespeare's Sonnets is the title of a collection of 154 sonnets by William Shakespeare, which covers themes such as the passage of time, love, beauty and mortality. The first 126 sonnets are addressed to a young man; the last 28 to a woman. The sonnets are almost all constructed from three quatrains, which are four-line stanzas, and a final couplet composed in iambic pentameter. This is also the meter used extensively in Shakespeare's plays. The rhyme scheme is abab cdcd efef gg. Sonnets using this scheme are known as Shakespearean sonnets. Often, the beginning of the third quatrain marks the volta ("turn"), or the line in which the mood of the poem shifts, and the poet expresses a revelation or epiphany.
