Do you fight for your country, or do you fight for yourself? Do you fight for what's right, or because you simply have to? Take orders, kill the enemy. Do as told. Doing so fosters a loathing for the other side of the war, the blame for all your side has lost in the conflict. Without the war finding its end, the next generation ends up no different, that hatred bred into them. Would a man be correct in thinking he is on the right side? He finds himself taking a job to infiltrate the enemy, gain their trust, learn their secrets, their weaknesses, and report back to base. There is no right side, only the one you fight for. Huge thank you to @Lasophie79 for the coverart.

Gate: War of Two Worlds. A Gate story loosely based on the Gate manga/anime. It starts similar and then goes on its own stories. It is a story when a alien Empire invades Philadelphia through a magical Gate in the year 2025. The US leads a NATO-led war in Humanity first interstellar war. A Ranger united called Vanguard-7 is led by Major Sharpe. He will have to face the unknown of this world while facing his past and upholding his ideals. This story has original character, original story, original locations and factions. The Gate story is a baseline for a far grander world that I have planned. Note: Volume 1 is a mix of Gate cannon and original work. Volume 2 is mostly a copy of the Italica Arc. Starting Chapter 25 is when the book becomes mostly original with only light story arcs from the gate cannon but with my twist. Pictures here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/200736076-gate-wotw-pictures written by Takumi Yanai and illustrated by Daisuke Izuka and Kurojish, all rights remain with them. Currently being ported to Webnovel, Fan Fiction, quotev, scribblehub and Royal Road under the same book name and username.

You died. I mean, it happened quite a bit during your lifetime. It wasn't anything different. However, instead of you waking up in the barracks again, you found yourself in a very odd place. A place where skin and fur were the same thing. "I hope I don't die too many times here." (Disclaimer: I don't own any of the artwork provided or Edge of Tomorrow, CoD AW, All you need is Kill, they belong to their respective owners. Human in a furry war but with a twist. I expected someone to do something like this but well, looks like I'll have to be the first...to my knowledge) If you like it, stick around. If you don't, I'm not forcing you to read it.

Scarred by a cataclysmic meteor strike, humanity struggles to rebuild amidst the wreckage. As civilization begins to take its first tentative steps forward, a bizarre twist of fate unfolds. Animals, exposed to a mysterious chemical agent released by the impact, undergo a radical transformation, gaining humanoid traits while retaining their primal instincts. Communication proves to be a barrier in the early years of their appearance. Humans, fearing for their species, ignited a war for dominance. Yet, as the conflict rages on, it becomes increasingly apparent that the scales are tipping in favor of the evolved animals. Humanity finds itself on the brink of extinction and, recognizing the futility of the conflict, a fragile peace is brokered between the two factions. Yet, despite the truce, tensions remain high. Interactions between what came to be called furries and humans are limited. Both sides bear the scars of the conflict, and conflicts still flare up sporadically, reminding all involved of the fragile balance that hangs over their world. Amidst this uneasy peace, our protagonist must navigate a world forever changed by the clash of two civilizations, grappling with questions of identity, survival, and the ever-shifting dynamics between man and beast.

Aurelia stands as one of the few nations in the world to achieve true coexistence between Humans and Anthros, even after the devastating Human-Anthro War and the Lawless Age of Chaos. Through visionary leadership and a commitment to unity, Aurelia has built a nation where species differences are not just tolerated but embraced, creating a culture of mutual respect and shared prosperity. The rest of the world looks on with a mix of envy and admiration, as Aurelia enjoys cutting-edge technology, a thriving economy, and the status of a global superpower. Its people, both human and anthro, live in harmony, working together to advance their society while maintaining a strong sense of national pride. Despite this success, some nations view Aurelia with suspicion, haunted by the memory of the USA's downfall-a nation that once promised freedom, only to become a brutal dictatorship, crushing anthro rights and liberties under an iron fist. Yet, unlike its predecessor, Aurelia has dedicated itself to restoring global peace and stability. Its military, forged from the fires of the Age of Chaos, has earned the role of the world's peacekeepers, intervening in conflicts and humanitarian crises across the globe. While some may fear its power, there's no denying the positive impact Aurelia has had on the world, standing tall as a symbol of hope in an era still healing from the scars of the past.
