Przemijają lata, uciekają wieki, ku zapomnieniu zmierzają tysiąclecia, a melodia Chenqinga wciąż rozbrzmiewa w myślach Nieśmiertelnego Mistrza z nadzieją, że nienawidzony przez wszystkich Wei Wuxian powróci. Jednak po dwóch tysiącach lat kultywacja odchodzi w zapomnienie, świat zmierza ku zmianom, które wykluczają istnienie dawnych mistrzów, lecz właśnie wtedy pojawia się młodzieniec. I serce Lan Wangji po długim oczekiwaniu znów bije w miłosnych drżeniach, zaraz po usłyszeniu głosu młodzieńca i jego słów "Coś mówiłeś, Lan Zhan?".

Większość ff będzie się opierała na wydarzeniach po tych z novelki, choć część rozdziałów ma to, czego mi osobiście zabrakło w novelce - częściowa perspektywa Lan WangJi'ego. Będzie też trochę scen uwodzenia przez Wei WuXiana (w nowym wcieleniu), który chciał wówczas zniechęcić do siebie Lan WangJi'ego, sądząc, że on nie wie, kim jest. Dalsze losy są tymi po zakończeniu novelki i już się nieźle w tym rozpisałam :)
