It's now the break at Beacon Academy, and the Xiao Long-Rose-Cross siblings are excited to go home to Patch. But how will Casey convince his girlfriend Blake to go with them?

It's now the second semester, and Casey Cross is back and stronger than ever. With the revealing of his Shadowhunter heritage, Casey must journey deeper into the shadows on what the Cycle's true motive is, why they're hunting him, and what is the mysterious Sword of Shadows. Will he rely on his sisters, his team, and his girlfriend, or will he go into the shadows alone?
