Hello there stranger! Just wanted to start this little ol' thing for some entertainment and a thing to do! Hope you enjoy!

New York City isn't the safest place with a rather high crime rate. But it's the state of opportunity. When a 15 year old named Y/N moves to New York with their family, they have a hard time adjusting to the new city life after having lived in a small town their whole life. With their parents' new jobs they have no choice but to comply and leave their old life behind. When Y/N gets into some basic city trouble with some not-so-nice mutants and yokai, they end up meeting a team of turtles and one seems to catch their eye. Red becomes their new favorite color and they get to know the group and make some new friends. While intimidating at first, the biggest of the four is a real sweetheart. Y/N can feel themself falling but refuses to believe it. Will the mutate ever like them back? Will Y/N except it? (it starts off kind of slow, with a bit of character build up, but I promise it'll get going around chapter 2-3! I am going to try and not have to many things that make people mad, like authors notes everywhere, bad grammar, etc. I am trying my best to keep updates constant! I DO TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! Y/N was a 16 year old girl who was bffs with April O'Neil she met her about six months ago even though Y/N kind of hated people April and her just clicked. Only after six months Y/N and April were still really close they were like sisters. Y/N was very protective over April and since she was always getting herself into trouble this only made Y/N even more protective over her. when April was in trouble Y/N would always be there to help her no matter what. Y/N always noticed April would be very secretive about certain things and Y/N could sense she was hiding something from her, but she knew if April was hiding something there was a good reason. So she didn't think about it to much... little did she know that little secret April was keeping from her would change her life forever. I just want to say that this is going to be my first story ever so if its not that great its because i've never done this before. I still hope you enjoy it tho!
