The Dursleys were outraged so they forced Harry to the basement and chained him to a chair and tortured him hoping to either get rid of his magic or kill him. Harry awakens the powers of an ancestor from a different time completely and becomes a Ghoul. This is an au were Harry had a younger twin sister who Dumbledore thought was the girl who lived and took her away to raise while Harry was left on the Dursleys doorstep. Harry's parents weren't killed but instead in a coma and laid in St.Mungos yet to wake up.
