However, the prince was not held back at all from showing affection to everyone as he always does, rebuilding the relationships that had faded away with age overtime, including his and Thanatos'. Recently after his mother Persephone returned to the underworld, he and Thanatos at last confessed their feelings to one another, leading to becoming what mortals and gods alike call it, lovers. Things are looking well, but there is something biting away at Zagreus' heart, wishing for more attention. After Zagreus is given the task to hand out invitations for the great underworld feast that will hopefully put a temporary end to all the lies and deceptions, Thanatos begins to feel different during his work after a certain incident, leading up to him searching for Zagreus every time he goes out of the House of Hades to spread the nine invitations or do his usual escape attempts. Will Thanatos be able to express himself clearly to Zagreus? What is Zagreus' desire that he so much longs to express in some way?
