America, the missing personification of the world of nations. Finding out about the personification at a gala no less....... who would of guessed America had a personification, and a woman one at that. Imagine the surprise on the nations faces at finding out the World Superpower is a female personification! It isn't that woman don't exist but most thought it would be male! [So hi again, probably won't post this ever but if I do HI! I've been on a small writing craze along with reading craze about America not having a personification so why not join 'em? After the second American Civil War, the world changes drastically. A new nation stood where the United States once was, the Last Empire having fallen to its own people. Addicted to more chemicals than a lab rat, Alfred has a hard time keeping his head up- quite literally. It's not that he doesn't want to quit- believe me, he does!- it's just that the withdrawal is destroying him from the inside out. What makes it worse, is when he's placed into an arranged marriage as a landgrab, and then told about it just before it happened. Now he is wrestling with both his addiction, and someone he was supposed to marry in 1860! Ivan was an addict, once. He understood the pain of withdrawal. He wants to help, since there was nobody around to help him. The idea of joining the Union was one he hadn't even thought of before his boss had arranged the marriage with the dictatrix. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary. Several twists and turns begin to crumble, as a hidden secret between Arthur, Matthew, and Alfred comes to light. For someone who's frequently cited as the most powerful country in the world, America...doesn't seem to act the part. He's an irresponsible, dishonest, just-does-whatever-he-wants type of guy with a devil-may-care attitude, and most definitely the last person you'd expect to be a father.
