While back at the Right Arm Camp, everyone is doing their best to find her. The longer it takes the more unstable and reckless Minho becomes. Minho is ready to burn the world down. His anger, guilt and trauma have taken a front seat. •×•

Jessie, an Assassin trailed by The Hall, a secret branch of WICKED to do their dirty work was sent to Maze B. Somehow she found herself in Maze A one night. Being stuck with a Glade full of boys who do nothing but bear and batter her walls around her heart she has fallen in love and started to care about some of them. The Gladers have been rescued from The Maze and have been taken to a facility. A deep unsettling feeling has been building in the chest of Jessie; not everything is as it seems, not everyone who seems like a good guy is and not everyone who seems like a bad guy is. She is just trying to navigate her past, her traumas, deaths of her friends, and with a spark of hope that maybe Sonya and Harriet are still alive. Jessie tries her best to keep her boys safe, and figure out who she can trust and who actually is on her side all while wanting to burn the world around her and destroy the people who have done unspeakable horrors to her and those she has learned to care about.

She ran into the Maze and never came back. Isla was one of the first. A Runner. A shadow between the walls. Then, one night, she vanished without a trace-no scream, no body, just silence. Most believed the Maze had taken her. Most forgot. But then the song began. A low, echoing melody, threading through the corridors in the dead of night. A voice that shouldn't exist. The Gladers whisper that she haunts the Maze, that her ghost is warning them of something lurking in the dark. Only Minho refuses to believe she's dead. Because if Isla is still out there, it means the Maze isn't finished with them yet. And if she's not... then something else is waiting in the dark, calling them deeper inside.

They thought they'd escaped. They were wrong. The desert stretches endlessly before them, scorching by day, freezing by night, and full of dangers they can't see coming. Isla is barely holding on, her body fighting against whatever WICKED pumped into her veins. Minho refuses to leave her side, even as the others struggle to keep moving. Food is running low. Water is almost gone. And the mountains that promise salvation still feel impossibly far away. But WICKED isn't done with them yet. Hunted by Cranks, haunted by nightmares, and desperate to survive, the group has no choice but to keep pushing forward-because stopping means death. Or worse. And in the end, escape might not be an option at all.

Life in the Glade hasn't changed for the Gladers. Every month like clockwork, a new Greenie appeared. But what happens when one month the new Greenie is a girl? Grace shows up in the Glade creating a wave of confusion. Some adjust better to her arrival, others not so much. Adjusting to life in the Glade is easier said than done, but Grace takes it one day at a time. She finds comfort in friends and in a certain Keeper of the Runners. Cassandra is a valuable asset of W.C.K.D. who was reluctantly sent to the Glade to end the game she had created. W.C.K.D betrayed her, despite her behind-the-scenes efforts.
