Is it possible to be friends with, or even have romantic interests, in someone if you're their imaginary friend? There exists a society of imaginary people, known as imaginary friends. Assigned to children at young ages, they live for as long as they are remembered by the child, which usually lasts for six years. The exception to this rule is Killua, the imaginary friend to Gon. Having lived for years past the average, he has to face some things that other figments would never have to; be offered something that both he and Gon never thought would be possible. (Based off of a prompt I saw about being reincarnated as child's imaginary friend and gave it my own spin) (Short story, gonna be pretty damn fast paced)

Gon is the good boy. Always getting good grades. Always staying out of trouble. Handing in his homework on time every day since the 1st grade. Killua is the bad boy. Never hands in homework and is always the center of trouble. He got expelled from 3 other schools for various reasons. Then he got expelled for the last time into the school Gon is in. I do not own any Hunter x Hunter characters. I only own the plot.

Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck begin to attend one of the most world-renowned schools, Hunter University. Gon is looking for adventure and friends, while Killua's there to escape his family, so what happens when the happy-go-lucky Gon gets roomed with the silver-tongued Killua? Gon constantly wonders the woods by his house on Whale Island. The older he gets, the farther he travels in, and one day, he stumbles onto something he knows shouldn't be that so deep in the forest - ripped children's clothes. His curiosity eventually gets the better of him and he travels deeper and deeper to where he shouldn't be. In a small island called whale island live humans and the creature of the dark called VAMPIRES. They suck the blood of the humans for their own satisfaction. The Vampire's are said to come out in the night to enjoy their feet of blood drinking. But there is this vampire master named killua, who was the greatest killer but found this young boy named Gon. Will killua change his ways or will he kill and suck the blood of this human child. Ok I'm terrible at description, but just read.

In school Killua has a tuff time living in life nothing has changed and everyday can be a challenge, his life can be worse than it already is. Maybe there's a way he could change it. Living Ill, maybe there will be that some person to make him get better.
