A parallel universe to our beloved MCU were things didn't go quite as planned in 2012, and Thor and Loki have a whole new chapter together. I wrote this in the aftermath of endgame, and I honestly did it so fast I wouldn't be surprised if half of it is grammatically incorrect, but I would like to know what people think of my idea for their characters. After the attack on New York, Loki's mind is deteriorating, due to mental manipulation. Thor decides it best to search for help on Midgard. He won't let Loki go completely insane.

What would the life of laufeys son be like if Odin had never adopted him? This story will tell of the life of the jotun prince as he was raised by laufey, and it will tell of how his life turned a hundred and eighty degrees when he is introduced to the royal family of Asgard.

He's the only heir to the throne and the king and queen have decided to get the best suitors for their child. Though it'll be a game of sort who ever can catch the prince's cat wins his heart. I was very inspired by Loki's Cat to make this story. Loki knows pain. He's dealt with much worse than Odin, that sentimental fool. He knows that whatever his punishment will be, he will bear it with ease. But, to Loki's growing horror, Odin can be very creative when it comes to discipline. But being stripped of most of his magic, forced under an obedience spell, reaved of his lies and sent to live with the Avengers is cruel, even for Odin. But Loki will survive. (It isn't like he has much choice, anyways.)

This story is quite opposite of the most I've read since Loki will be babysitting you. You didn't want to be part of the Avengers but you were forced to.
