Another basic modern college au sorry Literally stereotypical to every college au fic u read (yes there is a storm chapter) with a FEW plot twists bc you know meee ;) When Alexander Hamilton accepts a scholarship into King's College he meets an amazing new group of friends, in doing so also finding the one and only, John Laurens. Alex and John both persue a romantic relationship, but with Thomas Jefferson on Alex's back wreaking havoc, a rocky past to hide, mountains of school work and John's abusive home-life will Alex be able to survive college and protect the love of his life without crumbling under the pressure? Warning: deals with themes of abuse, alcohol, sexual themes, coarse language, self-harm and disorders (depression & ptsd)

Alexander Hamilton has not had an easy life. After his parents died, he bounced from foster home to foster home in Nevis, each one giving up on him and claiming that he was "too difficult to deal with." After being thrown out of his seventh foster home, he gets adopted by an American couple named George and Martha Washington. George and Martha are incredibly kind and willing to do anything for Alex, but Alex finds it difficult to trust them. He worries that they will become angry with him and throw him out the way the rest of his foster parents did. He finds himself growing more and more depressed and angry, and nothing the Washingtons do can make him feel better. Alex finds himself desparate for acceptance, and ends up in a tumultuous friendship with none other than John Laurens, a gay boy rebelling against his homophobic parents. Will the Washingtons give up on Alex, or will Alex finally learn to trust again.

DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ SAY SOMETHING BECAUSE SPOILERS After being shot and killed by his father, John Laurens waited for the day he could see Alexander again. When that day came, they spent about a year together before waking up with new identities. Well, their first names stayed the same anyway (because new names are just confusing for all of us). They don't remember each other, but sometimes, on rare occasions, people will meet their reincarnated lover, and, if they can fall in love again, their previous life's memories could have the chance of flooding in. So what happens when Alexander Russo meets John Morrison in his junior year of high school? Will they remember each other? Or will they simply fall in love all over again? After all, anything can happen when you meet a lover after rebirthing...
