Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. 'Don't look, Lillian. Never look into the eyes of a Sin-Eater, you will be as cursed as he is and will forever languish in darkness.' Lillian Elmes remembers the warning her mother gave her about the town's Sin-Eater only too well. How could she not when she'd ignored it as a child, only to find herself plagued with nightmares when she'd seen with her own eyes what the dark work of the Sin-Eaters entailed? Now an adult, Lilian's curiosity still burns deep, especially when she crosses paths again with the town's freshly-appointed Sin-Eater, the mysterious and strangely alluring, Daniel Carver. Desperate to find out whether the rumours about the dark priests are true, Lillian makes the journey into the forest to spy on Daniel in his woodland cottage, only to realise that she really should have heeded her mother's warning all those years before. For Lillian Elmes, looking into the eyes of the Sin-Eater is going to bring her far more than she had ever imagined it would - murder and mayhem, ghosts that just won't lay to rest and an attraction that might just be more lethal than the undead who've started rising from their graves.

Yet in a house built on blood and silence, Araxie begins to build her own mark. Her defiance, her fire, and her quiet kindness draw the Vescari household closer-even as Adrian fights the pull of the very woman he swore he would never want. Silence and Honey I talked enough for both of us. He listened like he might never let go. Runerth Castellion was the boy with the sharpest eyes and the quietest heart. He didn't talk much-didn't smile much either. But he always showed up. For me. I had known him since we were twelve. Since I decided I was going to be his friend, whether he wanted one or not. I was the chatterbox play school teacher who sings songs about dinosaurs and glue sticks. He was the grumpy heir to a mafia empire no one talks about out loud and a CEO of a heritage company. We were never meant to fit but we did and we did not at the same time. All that until the fate tested us. Tested me. In a world where healing feels impossible, our bond became a refuge, a promise that no matter how dark the night, dawn was waiting. This is a story about the strength found in vulnerability, the power of a patient heart, and the beautiful, messy journey toward a love that saves. The kingdom is bleeding, and war is no longer coming - it's here. Rogues rise under one banner. Her father's. Villages burn, packs fall, and the Lycan King is out for blood. Then she appears - shackled, silent, defiant. A rogue. A prisoner. A mystery. Kalowna Vaekhar doesn't tolerate weakness. He conquers it. But something about her makes his instincts snarl and his wolf still. She's too composed for someone broken. Too dangerous for someone without a wolf. Too tempting for a king who swore to never lose control again. He should execute her. Instead, he locks her behind gold and steel and watches the storm gather in her eyes. Something ancient stirs in her bones. Something forbidden. And the more she awakens, the more his empire begins to crack. She's not just part of the war. She's the key to ending it. Or destroying everything he was born to protect. "You're a rogue," he says, voice low and filled with contempt. "And I despise everything that makes you one." She lowers her gaze, voice barely a whisper: "I am what they made me... broken and lost."
