"Father?" The King's young daughter slips through the partly open door of her father's chambers. "Father!" She whispers again, a note of urgency evident in her sweet voice. He hears her this time. She clings to him and he wraps his arms around her, and in perfect silence they embrace. "Will you tell me about the dream?" He eventually asks. He strokes her straight, snow-white hair and gazes into her delicate eyes, those too, white in colour. "You are sad. Will you tell me what you saw in that dream?" he does his best to coax it out of her whilst remaining soft and patient. She has had too many nightmares recently, just like her father. She sniffs, and whispers, "In a minute."
