There once was a family that was whole. And by whole I mean happy; parents who worshipped their kids and gave them the best they could in everything, twin fraternal sisters bonded by blood and a shared womb, an older brother to protect both of them and all were a tight-knit family. Until something unfortunately happened that set off a chain of events that little by little led up to this story unfolding.
At the beginning of childhood one of the fraternal sisters veers off the path that the other sister took and began a very dark and dangerous life; running the streets, sometimes never coming home for days on end, and had rageful fits that would gradually get worse and changed into substance abuse and running away completely at seventeen.
Odeliana Marie Fitzpatrick after having enough of her parents wanting to reform her to their 'perfect little child with a golden future'routine ran away at seventeen. But what their parents didn't know was that just six months later after they both turned eighteen Carley bought her sister her own caravan to keep her safe.
At twenty Odeliana became a successful freelancer and even learned Mix Martial Arts along her travels.
Seven years later and Odeliana decides to come back home, to Carleys house just blocks away from her parents to catch up with her sister. Both sisters feel as is no time has been spent being away, only there is a big difference between this time and the last. Carley has a husband. An undeniably sexy husband who ends up getting entangled in the most explosive drama on the height of his career. And Odeliana? Is swept up by it all and jumps headfirst into the spicy and full of life affair that dangles just within her grasp. Inbetween it all, there is a hidden and dark secret that hangs over the Fitzpatrick family, a very harrowing and goosebump worthy secret that has kept this family bonded in the worst of ways.

[Completed] Elysia's life is turned upside-down when she's abducted by supernatural creatures with demonic eyes and threatening fangs. What's worse is she has no idea what it is they want from her, except that it has something to do with a side of her that she's never known. The chances of Elysia getting out alive are slim, but perhaps with a bit of luck and a lot of bravery she can escape with more than just her life. Excerpt: ''What trick is this?'' The creature asked, but it didn't sound like a vicious question. He sounded... confused. When I didn't answer, he appeared in front of me, snatching my face in his hand once more and growling. ''What is that on your back?'' ''I don't know,'' I blindly answered, but corrected myself quickly when his grip tightened dangerously, ''It's a birth mark, the doctors called it a... a Lichtenberg figure. My mother said I was born with it, I swear it, even though it's usually what happens when you survive being struck-'' ''-by lightning.'' {WATTY'S 2020 WINNER & EDITOR'S PICK.} Hopeless romantic and aspiring writer Mare Atwood has fallen madly in love with her childhood correspondent. There's only one catch-she doesn't know who he is. When the beaus of Star's Crossing return from boarding school to begin the courting season, Mare is determined to uncover the identity of her writer, flout her family's intentions of orchestrating an advantageous marriage, and procure the life of writing and romance she's always sought. But as in the tales she so adores, it won't be easy. Galas, masquerades, picnics, and hunts-alongside an old friend, a former teacher, and an unlikely ally, Mare delves into an investigation that leaves her torn between three clever, deceptive, and wealthy young bachelors. If Mare can confirm which is her writer and claim his hand before the courting season ends, she'll have her wish: the love of her life, a valuable marriage, and a future of writing romance. But with the eyes of Star's Crossing upon her, a business plot forcing invisible hands, and the unwillingness of her writer to come forward-Mare's future may not end in triumph, but tragedy.
