After Lloyd almost took over the city with his oni form, he doesn't feel like himself. His eyes glow purple at times, he keeps having these horrible nightmares. He feels as the light inside of him is fading away. His friends seem to notice, but the one who is the most worried is Nya, the one who saved him from the night the Overlord was defeated. Lloyd is scared of the other side of him, but when true darkness comes out from the shadows, he must learn to live with this side of him, in order to save the day.....even if he must become what he feared most.(The cover is not mine)

After lifting Cole's curse and saving the day in Metropolis, it's finally time to leave with Marinette and Adrien returning to their dimension. The ninja and Tabitha are then transported to the kingdom of Corona. They travel to the kingdom where the ninjas find out that Tabitha's still wanted for a crime that she committed over a year ago. A crime that her and her twin brother, Varian committed together. They head to the castle to avenge Tabitha's brother, and her father, although she soon finds out all the things that have happened while she was gone. Her father was free from the amber, Varian was redeemed, Cassandra turned evil yet was also redeemed, and Rapunzel saved Corona from Zhan Tiri. Tabitha promises to make amends, and her sentence is lifted. The ninja and Tabitha live in the castle happily, until they are framed by Perilia for treason against Corona. In their defense, Varian helps them out, who is then penalized with treason by helping them escape. On the run from the law, the ninjas and Tabitha teach Varian how to fight and use spinjitzu. His skills strengthening him for future battles. However, little do they know that those battles will be against them. And all of Corona. For Perilia has found her next victim to control.

He decides to tell everyone about it but they all make fun of him say that he was just being a scaredy-cat. However, that day does come and Tabitha turns into a dragon due to the dragon DNA in her blood like Lloyd's. She destroys the monastery and hurts many citizens that were there. During her frightened rampage, the cops and several elemental masters; including the ninja take her down; tying her to the ground like a wild beast. Cole tries his best to stop them but is knocked out by someone. He wakes up and decides that he was going to free Tabitha and find a way to bring her back. But first, he's gonna need a team. A new one in fact. Because his old one... would only get in the way of his plans. (This takes place after Crystalized but the ninja still have their powers and Harumi is still evil.)
