Hawkwing gets kidnapped, Brightstar gets separated from her clan, Starstripe in a leaderless clan, and Nightfeather blames himself. The plot is thickening and Starstripe knows that the time for him to fulfill his prophecy is growing near, but he keeps asking himself "am I strong enough?" Everyone is desperate to survive, but are any of them strong enough? Moonshadow is still running loose with cats on her tail sent by Connor. Nothing is going according to plan for anyone. Starclan's kit has arrived to Waterclan but he didn't come with the knowledge of what's going on. Starkit feels just like any other apprentice but he knows he gets treated differently. Great power comes with great responsibility, but is Starkit ready for the power he holds?

On top of losing one of her two kits Brightstar has to lead her clan. She isn't alone, her mate Icewing will do whatever it takes to keep their hopes and happyness growing and although Riverheart doesn't know anything about her brother she's always at her mothers side. Brightstar's deputy and closest friend Hawkwing however seems to be drifting away and Brightstar can't figure out why. Through all this Birdsong Waterclans medicine cat seems lost and confused in the mountains of prophecies and omens she's been receiving. Somehow Waterclan has to make it through these difficulties and mend friendships. Or fall apart, for good. I do not own warriors or the illustrations I use.
