Joe and Demi met at the age of five when they started kindergarten. They grew as friends through the years but when high school came along that's when everything change, they found new friendship groups and slowly drifted away from each other no matter what Demi did. She had formed a crush over her best friend also through the years. Despite Demi's best efforts they graduated and never saw each other again until the age of twenty one when Demi bumped into Joe randomly. They caught but Demi learning that he was due to get married and had already started to build a family up until they found out they wouldn't be able to have any children.
