Leonardo found it difficult to be the sensei after Splinter's death. The pressure weighed heavily on his shoulders. The four brothers tried to live their lives as they always had, but the tension in the lair without Splinter was impossible to ignore. Mikey kept trying to lighten the mood with jokes. Donnie spent most of his time in his lab, inventing and building new gadgets. Raph stayed busy taking care of Chompy and venting his anger by punching anything he could find. Leonardo did his best to keep the team together and prevent his brothers from arguing. But things couldn't stay normal forever. One day, while Donnie was working on an experiment and Leo was helping him, everything changed.
