When you made a promise to yourself, you should do it thoroughly; no matter how much it hurts. This is a story of a girl who feels that no matter how much it hurt her, this is one promise she's going to keep. Short drabble-ish story. Completed. May be updated sporadically though.

A.E Housman I've written poetry for as long as I can remember... My style varies, from dark and alone... to in love and flying through the stars. I try to put down my emotions, whether directed at a specific person or event. I often find that I've written something without even thinking about it.

Please do not judge my writing based off of this horribly put together last minute story filled with spelling and grammar errors. It's a train wreck, I know XD I started this fanfic when I was like what, 15? 16?? I can't remember 😂 the point is, I had no clue what I was doing. I was just puking a story out with zero plot or plan. I am doing some MAJOR editing in this story. Hopefully when I am done, it will have a smooth, easy to follow plot line with paced character growth and a lot less errors. 40 years after the Hunger Games are over, President Fallon brings them back. Elissa and Will Are the children of Peeta and Katniss. They both are being sent off into the arena, but before the hunger games even begin, there are uncontrollable obstacles. Elissa faces life or death in all aspects and soon afterwards is sent off into the arena alone. There she makes an alliance with Kal, who doesn't reveal his true self in order to save her. Throughout everything, nobody really knows what is to come of Elissa. Can she win the Hunger Games and defend her title of being the daughter of the girl on fire, or will she crumble? Will she ever get all the answers she's being anxious to find? But what she learns on later, is that the real games aren't played in the arena.
