Soon, seventeen-year old Zelda will be forced to marry if she cannot make her decision on her own. She must follow the Royal Law, one which her father strictly enforces. She must chose one suitor to take over the kingdom and rule alongside her. 1. The suitor must come from a royal bloodline. 2. The suitor must be an ally of Hyrule. 3. If the royal does not choose his/her suitor in a time span decided by the King or Queen, they must be forced to marry the King or Queen's ideal suitor. Time quickly running out, Zelda realizes she does not want to marry someone that only cares about inheriting the throne. She wishes to marry for happiness. And if she cannot prove herself and her happiness to her father soon enough, she will be forever forced into a life she does not want to live. Zelda, the governor's daughter, is an aspiring author who can only write in coffee shops. Forced by her father to move away from Central, and her beloved coffee shop, she must find a replacement. She finds this in "Hyrule Coffee," owned by a kind young man her own age. When he proposes a deal to her, how will it change both of their lives? Story is the fluffiest I've ever written, but it also has much deeper subjects. It changes drastically near the end. Link is known to be a man of few words. In this case, it is completely true. He has been mute since he was very little, no one knows why. As you can probably expect, other people his age are rather vocal, especially about him not being so. Zelda sees through it. She takes a look further to see who is behind all of the silence, but it doesn't work out how she expected it to. The Princess of the vast kingdom of Hyrule, Zelda Nohansen was only sixteen by the time she was diagnosed with a illness called Huntington's Chorea. Which causes her memory to be very fragile from time to time, and sooner or later, it'll drive her to her deathbed. She has been told time and time again that she is nothing but a failure by achieving nothing in her life. Yet, she tries her hardest to fulfill her one wish in life, finding her own knight in shining armor, who would truly love her until the very end. Now being twenty-three years old, she embarks on a journey on her own after she gets frustrated over a personal guard that is ordered to follow her around anywhere she goes. However, during this journey her fate took an unfortunate turn and she completely lost her memory. As she continues to remember bits of her past she grows more and more curious about this one particular boy that seems to appear alot in these flashbacks. ~ All rights to Nintendo, The legend of Zelda series, thank you for making my childhood so memorable. Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people.
