Michael's life is pretty rough. His mother and father treat him terribly and could really care less about him. Not only that he has to go to a school where no one likes him and everyone is a bully towards him and beats him up nearly everyday. A jock, luke hemmings, soon gets to know Michael more and deeply where luke gets tired of the way he's treated.

Luke just has a trouble with revolving doors, and Michael just has to help him more than once.

Just another entirely cliche Cinderella story.
