Grian needs to hunt down a monster in the forest, a creature of unexplainable powers that he has been instructed to capture. But instead of a ferocious beast, he meets Mumbo, a scared vampire that has no control over his powers or his bloodlust. It's Grian's heart against his head, love against logic. Mumbo doesn't seem like the bloodthirsty creature that all the stories describe him as, but can Grian really trust him?

WARNING: this story has the f-slur a bit in chapters, I did my best to take out most of them. (The chapters where there are f-slurs have warnings on them at the beginning) Scar just moved to a new town. He met his neighbor, Grian. They go on all sorts of fun adventures and soon, school starts. Grian is normally bullied for looking feminine. Scar stands up for him but this just seems to make Grian ever madder.
