This is also an opportunity for me, as a trans individual, to reclaim this story and emphasize its message of love, diversity and acceptance away from the author's distorted vision of equality. She tried to push it aside, but all it did was make her chase after this girl more. And she swore that one day, Hermione would be Pansy's. Hermione was a good student. She didn't get distracted. She didn't misbehave. She didn't let boys cloud her mind. But a girl...
