Loretta Thughorn, born in the district of Taro, realizes life on the island is nothing but a dictatorship. Her struggles begin from an early age, from being raised in an orphanage to working multiple jobs. Loretta grows up as an intelligent, independent, sensitive little girl. Among all the chaos, Loretta creates bonds with two of the closest people in her life. As days pass, Taro turns into a dead island with mountains of bodies stacked up everywhere. Loretta's life takes a different turn after she flees Taro and decides to join the army. Yearning for change, Loretta's life takes another turn after she realizes her diagnosis.
