The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills... but what happens when a stray thread falls out of place in the Pattern?
Cirydin Damodred was never meant to exist.
A close blood-relative of Moiraine Damodred, Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah. A secret channeler with a savant-like understanding of and talent with Saidin-the usually-violent male half of the One Power-seemingly and inexplicably untouched by the Dark One's taint. A scholar of forgotten lore and forbidden truths, Cirydin has spent years wandering the ruins of the world: watching, learning, hiding. But when prophecy stirs around the Dragon Reborn, the Wheel weaves, and Cirydin is pulled from his watchful vantage by a trusted Aes Sedai conspirator, and thrust into the greatest conflict of the Third Age.
And at the eye of the storm is Rand al'Thor: the boy meant to break the world. The man Cirydin is drawn to by threads neither of them understand. Not yet.
Torn between his desire for peace and a sense of responsibility to both the world and The Dragon, Cirydin must forge a path unwritten. For he is not Asha'man, nor Aes Sedai. He is not Ta'veren. He is not The Dragon Reborn. He is something else. A memory from the Light; something the Pattern should not abide.
And the world is beginning to notice.
***The core content of this story is taken from the stories written by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, colloquially known as The Wheel of Time series. This story is a LOOSE retelling of the events of Jordan's novels. This is another turning of The Wheel, an alternate timeline where THINGS ARE DIFFERENT---some events and characters will be altered. I do not own the rights to this world or it's characters, simply an admirer who wishes to bring a fresh, modern twist to a beloved story!***
