Aurora, a 23 year old artist with synesthesia, has just moved to Brighton, England as an attempt to escape the problems from her home life in the US and chase the dreams she once had in college. She almost immediately discovers that her new apartment shares a wall with a noisy musician next door, a less than ideal situation. Aurora is faced with the question of what's worse, the sounds of his music through the walls all hours of the night, or her thoughts when it's finally silent? Wilbur, a 25 year old online content creator, is faced with two dilemmas. One, he has already seemed to be a nuisance to his new neighbor. And two, he fell head over heels for a random American girl in his local grocery store without as much as asking for her name. He feels haunted by the stranger, constantly finding pieces of her scattered through his day to day life. Wilbur has to find a way to smooth things out with his new neighbor and somehow track down the girl he met by chance. The argument over the etymology of Versailles tends to privilege the Latin word 'versare', meaning "to keep turning, turn over and over", an expression used in medieval times for plowed lands, cleared lands (lands that had been repeatedly "turned over"). --- He wasn't like any endermen you had seen before - probably because he wasn't fully an enderman. He was tall like an enderman, but that was where the similarity ended. He was split down the middle - half of his skin the same inky black as the twins, the other half a radiant white. His eyes didn't match either - one blood red and the other emerald green. His hair fell in soft waves, almost obscuring his eyes at times, and he kept his head tilted down, his sharp jawline on display. He seemed timid, but that might have just been the situation - anyone behind bars would likely hang their head.

I quickly sat down on my throne, awaiting for them to arrive. Father shot me a soft- scolding look and I sheepishly smiled at him and looked away. He only shook his head and looked at the doors that busted open, noise filling in the room. I saw three boys getting dragged in the room, hands tied behind them. One blonde, one brunet and one... hybrid? What a sight to see. They all had their heads down, feeling guilty for what they did for the past months; and they are still teenagers yet they are being set off in the dungeon. What a heart breaking sight.
