Gilbert Blythe was back in Avonlea and with him was bringing all the adventures he had experienced in the last few months. Now he wanted toget back on with his life, take over the farm, make up for lost time at school, and meet Anne again. He did not know what was waiting for him, but he was willing to find out.

This story is a modern day version of Anne with an E and Anne of Green Gables. It tells about Anne and her friend's journey through out high school and more specifically, her and Gilbert's journey.
