It was a normal day for Nico, at least until the Avengers showed up. New monsters have been showing up everywhere that the Earth's mightiest hero's just can't seem to kill. The Avengers turn to Nico for answers once they realize he knows more than he lets on.

"Percy!" A panicked voice calls, sounding like it's not the first time they said his name. "Are you okay?" Percy stills, not sure what to say. His mouth opens and then closes again and his gaze flies to a scar running down his arm. "Time heals all wounds." He shrugs, a casual gesture, though the creases around his eyes and the tightness to his lips is anything but casual. Natasha - for that's who's been calling his name - studies him for a moment, noting the way he avoided the question. "No, Percy. Time fiddles with your memories and dulls the pain of the wound, but it remains there all the same." Percy's hand drops down to his side, his expression carefully blank. "And what of emotional pain? Does it remain?" "It festers." Natasha lets out a slow breath, trying to keep her face in a neutral position, though her eyes betray her concern and the fact that she speaks from experience. "And the more you try to contain it, to hide it, the more it grows. Then one day it just... implodes. Like a storm. And... all the water just... drags you under. Until someone pulls you out." Percy laughs drily. "See that's the problem, Natasha. Everyone that's tried to pull me out is dead. And gods know I'm not strong enough to pull myself out." Or Percy Jackson meets the avengers. Can they help him? Or will he drown?

After spending around 2 years in the dungeons of Asgard, and suffering pain each day of that sentence. Loki is forced to live with the Avengers. He has internal struggles with his past that keep coming back to haunt him, as well as the external struggle of having to deal with the Avengers. Honestly, I am pretty excited about writing this. Loki has to deal with his mental and physical issues but learn he is not alone in this and has another kid who will stop at nothing to make sure he is safe. Also Peter is dealing with some deep stuff from his horrible past sadly I don't own any of these characters no matter how much I would like to. This story includes: Suside attemt/ self harm/ torture/ love/ rape/ cringe/ spelling mistakes/ mental issues/ heavy mentions of anorexia/ overdosing I usally don't make warnings on anything I make since I hope people aren't idiots and know to click off if they don't like it. Loki has done some horrible things, to that he admits, but the punishment he has recieved is worse than imprisonment, worse than execution. Loki now has no family, and ultimately one question stays in his mind: What is freedom?

When Peter finds Loki in an dark alley broken and hurt and significantly younger than he was in the New York fiasco, he sneaks him in Stark Towers and looks after him. When Tony Stark finds Loki, Peter finds himself in a sticky situation. When HYDRA takes Loki, Peter gets put in danger.
