Everyone who reads Harry Potter or watches the movies know that Lily and James are his parents. But how did he ever get Lily? It was a known fact that Lily hated James and James loved Lily. He was everything she hated about guys: Cocky, arrogant, a pain in the neck, and a troublemaker. But what if there's more than to James than all of that. Lily finds an unlikely friend and that carries a burden heavier than most. Just how long can this friendship truly last before it becomes something more? War is coming and with betrayals and loss, can love really be found? Before you read: This is more of a marauders fan fiction.
