"The Monsters Are Real!" Alice Albright's parents died when she was very young. She now lives with her Aunt Linda who is a bit of a space case. Alice is used to getting ignored because at school everyone forgets she's their. She is sad and lonely. One day everything changes when she has a nightmare about her father going to a mental institution for being crazy. She wakes up remembering that he was a little bit looney. "The Monsters are real." He used to say so he would never let her out at night. Ever since that nightmare Alice starts seeing things that nobody else can see. At first she thinks there demons until she meets Nate, who can see the same things she can although they aren't demons they're worse: Zombies. Alice teams up with Nate to kill the night stalking, soul eating zombies before its to late.

If you have not seen the giver the movie please do so before reading this! This is gonna be really short but I wanted to get my idea of how it should have ended out there. Her biggest problem is her homework and studying for tests. She hates her life's routine and always wishes something would be different. These two girls, although living centuries apart, are so similar. What happens when during their sleep they are brought together? And what will happen next?
