Eragon and Saphira have traveled east down the Edda river, out of Alagaesia and into unexplored terrain. They must find a place to train the future dragon riders and keep the eggs and Eldunari safe. Meanwhile the few eggs left behind in Alagaesia have already begun to hatch, the riders need a teacher. They need Eragon.

In ancient times, where the caves were full of beasts, people hunted you in the woods, and you struggled to survive, there were many stories of great hero's and how they slayed great beasts. One man never believed many of them, until one day, his life would be one of the greatest stories of them all. Will he save Skyrim from the threat that is looming over it, or will he send Skyrim into eternal darkness? The fate of Skyrim and it's people rests on one man's shoulders, the choice is his, and the power is in his voice.

After Princess Lumina's return to power, a twenty five year gap of peace settled throughout Alagaesia. With the new age of peace, Eragon decided that it was time again he brought out the remaining twenty dragon eggs. In result, the youngest rider in all of Alagaesia, a wild human girl by the name of Raieko Rhette Urit, became the first of her kind to bond with a dragon. However, teaching a nine year old to be a responsible dragon rider was easier said than done.... A completely new race has been discovered and has been given the title Angels. (I've decided to insert my magic angels from Aeria into this story, but they aren't the same characters---I assure you. This is a whole new perspective on this species.) And if raising dragon hatchlings wasn't enough, a new threat is brewing in West Alagaesia. Will these new riders be able to tackle it or will the world be subjected to another tyrany once more? The journey has only just begun for them in Eragon ~*~ Glaciem.
