"Do you know, Guruma told me how much she likes me being there." Thirteen year old Meenakshi spoke about her new life. "She is absolutely right. Having you around is like having our blessings around." Chitrama said, as she slowly massaged her bruised arms. "Who would not like you?" She asked, her question rhetorical. "My parents." Meenakshi whispered, making Chitrama look at her. She smiled softly at her, as she saw the little girl becoming a woman. "Does you feet not hurt you?" She asked diverting her attention. They were bruised from walking on the rocks and climbing trees. "No ma. I am used to the pain." Meenakshi said, making Chitrama's heart weep. "One day, you shall be cherished dear, so much that all this pain will be worth it." She said, caressing her soles, before she bandaged them. "I don't have any such expectations ma. And I don't wish to." She said, before she walked to the bathing area.

What if it wasn't Kunti who gave birth to Karna? What if Karna was born as Radha and Adhiratha's biological child...?? What if Karn was born as a beautiful girl with the name Vrisha..?? I don't want to hurt anyone or any religion with this story, this story is purely just fiction and has nothing to do with the original story 🙏

Aaryavati is your regular Queen. Innocent, pure, happy-go-lucky, always indulgent in womanly pleasures, illiterate, hopelessly romantic and daydreamer- Or that's what the King believes. What he doesn't know that behind the mask of an innocent Woman, lies a badass, clever, scheming yet righteous Queen who struggles to survive (and thrive) in the patriarchal society. What happens when her husband goes abroad to face the war and her kingdom falls into the chaos of threats from the other kingdoms? Will she be able to shed off her mask and save her kingdom timely? Will she allow the world to discover that she is a woman of substance or merely work her way through the shadow of her meek reputation? P.S. I would again like to stay true to my word. My stories doesn't possess emotional dramas. Or any negativity. Women are empowered and men are highly compassionate. I hope you will find my work interesting and positively refreshing. Roxana kept her head bowed as Alexander stepped towards the captives of war, sweeping his cloak behind him. He passed by all of the women with the indifference and sobriety that rivalled their fairness and beauty. "The Bactrian women are eyesores," His deep, passionate voice ran out, earning the chuckles of his generals. That was when she realized that a pair of feet in leather soles had stopped before her. Slowly, she looked up. She saw a pair of metal greaves on strong, sturdy legs. She saw a kilt and scaled armour securely tied off at the shoulders. On the centre of his chest was engraved a sun with a face drawn on it. Then she focussed her eyes on his chiselled jawline, then at his arrogant mouth, and then his mismatched but clear brown and blue eyes. Roxana's eyes widened. This was the greatest commander ever known on earth, the one who massacred thousands of citizens who revolted against him in Thebes, the one who had burned down the palace complex of Persepolis in one night, and the one who never lost a battle in his life. She wanted to look away from his intense gaze. But she lifted her chin a little higher and boldly locked her gaze with his. "What is your name?" He asked, his expression stone cold. She felt his hand touch a lock of her long, dark brown mane. His gaze bore into her eyes so piercingly that she decided to cast her head to the side. "Roxana, my lord." She replied. "Who is your father?" "Oxyartes, mighty warlord and nobleman of Sogdia." "Ah, Oxyartes. I know him. I know him very well," He smiled. Then he bent down so that the tips of their noses were almost touching. She could feel his warm breath which turned into mist in the freezing winter air. Roxana shivered. "Tell your father that I have come," He whispered, "And that his people are now my people."
