Clarabell has had enough of her dead-end job at Joja corp, and more than that, she's had enough of her obnoxious little puke of boss, Aiden. Perhaps it's against her better judgement, but she has told Aiden to bite it, and she quits. She's just going to take the bus to Stardew Valley and Moon Place Farm to see her grandpa, whom she's embarrassed to admit she's somewhat lost contact with. Only when she arrives, she quickly discovers that her beloved Pops has passed away, and her old friend Robin and the Mayor of Pelican City are there to tell her. She also learns that the farm has been bequeathed to her. It's all so much to take in and when she awakens the next day she decides she should get back to the city and talk things over with her dad. Except, not unlike a hotel in California, once you're in Stardew Valley, you can never leave.
