"I mean seriously, Matt, you can smell when I walk into a room, hear my heart every time I lie! For fucks sake, you can taste blood in the fucking air! But you can't tell when someone loves you?!" I practically yell, outraged with what's going on between us. "Who ever said that, Daeva?! I knew the second you loved me!" He yells as he bolts out of his seat, causing him to groan in discomfort from the stitches. "Than why the games?! If you don't love me back you could have just told me." I tell him, my chest rising and falling from our argument. "Even without the heightened senses, you know damn well I love you. You don't need to hear my heat beat for that. But if it will goddamn make you believe me..." He grunts angrily, grabbing a hold of my wrist and placing my cold fingers over his fast beating heart. "Tell me doctor, is this the feeling of a lying mans heart?" He whispers, his lips grazing my ear. I take in a deep breath and close my eyes about to respond. "You know your heart rate changes when you're about to say something, right?" He jokes with a knowing grin on his face. I bite my lip, hiding my smile before I press my lips onto his. "Now you're just showing off." Matt Murdock, lawyer during the day with his best friend Foggy, but vigilante by night finds himself in a young woman's apartment, all bandaged up and cared for. He slowly starts to tell her everything about himself and he can't help but not feel something for the woman he can't even see. "You're different." Matt murmurs as he shuffles farther away from me. I furrow my brows, the feeling of dejection making my heart sink. "I'm still Daeva, just with a few...improvements." I explain as I slowly shift closer to him on the soft sofa. "You call what this is an improvement?" He whispers, shock prominent on his face. "Yes." I breath out, looking at Matts eyes that stay trained at his hands. Biting my lip, unsure of what to say I grab onto his hand, lifting it to be held in mine. "Let me show you." I whisper, guiding his hand as I walk between his open legs. "Show me?" He asks as I slowly sink down, his hands tight around my waist now as mine hold onto his knees. "Yes, show you how much my love hasn't changed for you." I utter before my hands roam up his body, linking them around his neck before jerking him forward. Letting his lips hit mine hungrily. ✰✰✰ Returning after 5 months of being captive by her ex husband, Daeva is quick to find the love of her life. But she has changed, and so has Hell's Kitchen. New threats appear and not only to the city, but in her relationship with Matt as well.

Bucky Barnes is finally free as Winter Soldier and readjusts to his civilian life until he receives an anonymous letter that puts him in trouble; Hydra's former members threaten him with video footage during his assassinations to be leaked in public unless he surrenders and gets brainwashed again. He denies it and turns to his friend Matt Murdock for help; either by law or violence. Matt releases his client and old friend Eleanor from prison to have her included in the recruit; a pain in the ass but a needed one. There is no law for Bucky's situation with Eleanor on their side. Vengeance is a one-way street and so is sharing.
