Hidden within the Elven mountain range bordering the unknown, tucked between the cliffs and valleys lies Rivendale, the capital of the Elven Empire. This land has known peace for centuries, under a millennium of righteous rulers...but soon that would be coming to an abrupt and bloody end. After the brutal murder of Ry Rohan and Awl Pandora, their son Scott Major has let the crown lay heavy on his head. His reign is instantly plagued by a commotion amongst the 12 empires. There is an unsteady peace between several of the neighboring realms, for once void of wars. But with a demon on the loose, people are bound to choose sides... Enemies will turn to allies and allies into enemies, friends will be made and bridges are to be burned in the turmoil that is soon to come. Revenge was brewing. The Rapture was here. The end of the world. Not knowing what to do, Gem tried to send all her friends somewhere safe. Instead, she sent them all a thousand years into the future, where they meet their reincarnations. Will they get into trouble? Yes. Will they fight? Yes. Will they have fun? Definitely. You shall be the pawns of his game.' ---- The empires are peaceful. The skies are clear. Relationships blossom like flowers on a summer's day. But not for long. A corruption spreads like wildfire across the land of the empires, and no one is safe from it's grasp as it captures and destroys everything in it's path. Every so often, the shadow or silhouette of a horned man appears, frightening children and adults alike. What legends is it part of? Meanwhile, across the empires themselves, the sweet flower of affection raises her petals to the sky as sibling love, romance and parental adoration spreads around the lands. But will these affections harbour tyranny? Or will they halt fear and treachery in their paths? With this new turn of events, the emperors can't tell who to trust. Anyone could be a traitor: A close friend, sibling, lover- and everyone is on edge. Will they be able to find the turncoats among them? Or will everything they've worked for be lost to time?

He learned that he couldn't control his powers so he runs away for the safety of everyone. Scott now has a time limit before he goes completely frozen, will he be able to keep Xornoth inside the crystal while trying to control the eternal winter? Only the book of prophecies knows... ~*~ TW: -Angst -Crying -Blood -Major Character Death -Weapons -Fainting -Fighting ~*~ This book is not really connected to my other empires book. Xornoth knows that Gem can defeat him. She knows way too much. But that could be helpful for the demon. Though, Gem won't break. She was scared of him, yes, but she didn't have much with high value to loose. But there was someone who she genuinely cared about... fWhip. Her dearest brother. Xornoth had a plan. A plan to break GeminiTay. Can she save her brother from the clutches of Xornoth? Will she have to finally run back to him? Read to find out! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In honour of Empires SMP Season 2. Based on the now canon Gem and fWhip siblinghood and popular headcanon of Gem running away to study magic. (I recommend checking out 'A Missing Piece || Empires SMP' by @ThatRandomFoxLover to know more about the AU) Since fWhip had a small part in Xornoth's release, what if he got corrupted as well? But the chances of that were slim. fWhip is a very independent and strong-willed character, unlike the ones Xornoth took control of. But that doesn't mean Xornoth can't just fully take control of him. I love Gem and fWhip siblinghood. Trigger Warnings in chapters that need them!
