While RyeClan and ShallowClan are both strong clans in their own right, their bitter rivalry runs acrid through the river and has torn apart generations. As adversity approaches from all sides, the two clans must struggle through, whether apart or together, and decide their fate.

As she grows from a kit to an apprentice and finally a warrior, she must fight to prove herself to her new Clan, while also unraveling the secrets of her parentage. But, the state of the forest is fragile, and a storm of war looms ever closer, threatening Frost's place in the Clan that she now calls home. They will no longer compete for prey, they will no longer fight. Instead, they will rule the forest together. Greeneyes, the loyal BeechClan deputy, is given the task of helping bring these Clans together.
