What if Devasena had a hidden twin? What if the baby who never cried was seen as a bad omen? A sign of destruction in the future? What if that baby was left alone on the forest floor, meant to be devoured by wild animals? But fate had other plans. The mountain people, who never left their land, happened to cross that path at the right time. They found the infant and took her into their arms and into their hearts. She was raised as the daughter of the mountain tribe's leader in a world far from the kingdoms of men. They named her Valli, after their goddess who married the god of war, Murugan. Blessed with a brilliant mind, she was taken under the wing of Rishi Vamadevananda. He taught her archery, swordplay, poetry, and the sacred texts. Though she never liked to fight, she learned to protect herself. Her true passion was poetry. Her people were known for their fine and rare silks. Though they never mingled with the outside world, their silks travelled across kingdoms. Valli, the lover of art, helped craft the finest fabrics and added her own touch: a secret verse embroidered on each piece. One of her silks, stitched with her soul, found its way to a palace. And it touched the heart of a man the world feared. Bhalladeva, Prince of Mahismati, who craved only power, was drawn to her words. For the first time, his heart listened. And the man the world feared began to smile, just for her. In front of her, nothing else mattered. The heart wants what it wants. What happens when the hidden twin steps into the light? When a forbidden romance is caught in the fire? Can the villain protect his love? His muse, his soul, his desire-his everything? The Villain's Muse

In the cold halls of Mahishmati, where love was a weakness and fear ruled hearts, Bhallaladeva stood alone - worshipped for his strength, but never loved for his soul. Until Shree was born. His aunt's daughter. Royal blood. Yet when her cries first echoed in the palace, he was the first to hold her - not as a prince, but as a man who, for the first time, felt something break open within him. Her tiny fingers curled around his, and she never let go. As she grew, so did his quiet devotion. She had only eyes for him. Not the warrior. Not the future king. Just him. And he? He only smiled when she was near. Her name alone could still his storm. She was light where he was shadow, softness where he had known only steel. No one ever looked at Bhalla the way she did. No one ever mattered like she did. But in a kingdom built on rules and bloodlines, love like theirs was forbidden. Still, Bhalla didn't care. He ruled for her. Burned for her. Lived only for her. Because from the moment she opened her eyes, Shree was the only one for him..

#1 of the love series. He rose slowly, still holding her hands. She stepped closer. Closer. So close that the boat rocked faintly beneath them. Then, standing on her toes slightly, she reached up and held his shoulders to steady herself. He instinctively moved his hands to her waist so she wouldn't lose balance. The anklets chimed softly and then.. she bent her head forward.. slowly. Her forehead touched his. The red kumkum on her forehead brushed against his skin, leaving a faint, sacred mark just above his brows. He froze. Neither of them moved. Her eyes were closed and his breath stopped.. the contact was simple. Sacred. When she finally spoke, her voice was barely above a whisper, but steady. "If you are my light," she murmured, her forehead still resting against his, "then let me mark you as mine before the world does." She lowered herself slowly, but didn't move away. Her eyes searched his. "You don't need a ring to bind me," she said softly. "And I don't need a ceremony to know what you mean to me." Her fingers brushed the red mark she had left on him. "This," she smiled faintly, "is my answer. My acceptance." His fingers tightened unconsciously around her waist. "I am yours," she whispered. "And you are mine. Not for a moment. But for every day that comes after." And she slowly moved into his embrace and hugged him, holding him a little tighter than usual, like she never wanted to let go. They stayed there for a while longer, not speaking. Everything you're about to read is true... but I've never confessed to him in real life. The story ends with a plot twist my real life hasn't caught up to yet. This story is written mostly in English (about 98%), with some Telugu (about 2%) along with translations. -------- Happy reading 🩷

Two maids were cleaning a vast chamber when the younger maid asked the older one, "Didisa, you have been working in the palace for two decades right. Please tell me why are we cleaning this already clean chamber?". The older one smiled and said, "Although this chamber is always kept clean, it should be cleaned before anyone can reside here. And above all, our Ranisa is coming back to the palace". The younger maid didn't seem to accept it as a good news and said, "Whoever may come, but they cannot become equal to our choti Ranisa. She is the most kind, generous and sweetest person I have ever seen. She had never gotten angry on any maids even if they make mistakes. Take my example, I have made such a blunder on my first day here, but choti Ranisa accepted me as her own maid. Who can match her in kindness or even sword fight? And moreover she is Ranasa's heart beat". The old maid sighed and said, "Our Ranisa may not hold the heart of Ranasa. She may not be well versed in sword fight. But there is a reason why she is still our Ranisa. Sometimes one may have to be harsh to deliver justice and not just compromise between the victim and the tormentor. The people should have some fear about getting punished if they do wrong. And that charisma is with our Ranisa". ----------------------------------------------------------- A young girl of 17 years, looked at the retreating back of her newly married husband with a sad face. Just then her brother-in-law seated beside her husband's empty seat said, "Why are you sad, Bhabhisa?". She replied, "It's Nothing devarsa". He glanced back at his bhabhisa one more time and thought, "I don't know when bhaisa will open up with bhabhisa about his heart. She thinks that he is not fond of her. But how would one explain, why he ate the saltless food without a complaint and glared at me to keep my mouth shut. Unless it is for his beloved wife".
