This short story follows the Uni-student Jasper, who tries to make a new friend while working a job in his free-time. All this while living in a world where humans and witches live together in mostly harmony, and where summoning demons is a forbidden act. Tales from the Coffee Shop is a writing practice for the characters of a hopefully upcoming Urban Fantasy story in which Jasper will be one of the side characters.

When an incident at the lighthouse derails their holiday, they discover that there's a lot more to this town then anyone expected.
