Cover by @artsylivia Hell Month Series: Book One of Two THE ORIGIN 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 - A series of deadly games held in The Republic of Crimenstein every month of July. *** The Republic of Crimenstein is an urban, industrialised country full of potential and equal possibilities. That was until the supernatural Quin-Sapiens came into the picture. Whilst 50% decide to remain hidden, the other half decide to flaunt their powers, making it known to the world that they're gifted. The concept of equality was constantly reiterated, giving The Normals hope that they were still a beneficial part of society but the underlining reality was clear that Quin-Sapiens were growing in superiority. Ruled under what they considered to be the most influential Quin-Sapien, rules and regulations began to favour them. Quin-Sapiens were growing in number; people would wake up to gain new, unprecedented abilities and scientists were struggling to find the real cause but they all had one thing in common: it always felt as though their soul had left their body. *** A group of criminals despise Quin-Sapiens and all their undeserved glory. Going by the last name "Huxley", they discover new, unrevealed rumours about the power of Quin-Sapiens and decide to take what they believe to be rightfully theirs; punishing the country for their suffering and creating what we know to be "National 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹 Month". •𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 •𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁: 27/01/21 •𝗘𝗻𝗱:

This is my first time writing an actual story. I'm always only reading, pretty much. So I get a lot of ideas from books I've read. This story is about a 17 year old girl named Emery, and a mysterious boy she meets named Greyson. It's a classic meet-in-a-book-shop, but nevertheless a beautiful story. I don't know how long it's going to be, it's all up to how much my creative juices feel like flowing. Emery's a girl who never seems to know what to say. Greyson's a boy who knows just what to say. Emery's mom has just died in an accident. She seems okay, however, because she tends to bottle up her emotions. Meeting Greyson helps her learn that it's okay to feel. And it's okay to talk about things. Follow along this story if you're interested in their journey!

"Appearances can be deceiving- especially if you're not looking hard enough." This is a story about superheroes. Also, it isn't. I should know. I'm trapped in it. *** Meet Jack. A stereotypical protagonist with a tragic backstory who discovers he has powers and uses them to save The City aided by his trusted friends- except he isn't. What's the hushed-up secret the Government is keeping about The City- and why is it against a hero? What's up with Jack's history teacher? What exactly is his University hiding? Why is there the occasional unnecessary reference? How sinister are the skeletons lurking in his so-called friends' cupboards? And which one of them is a cold-blooded murderer? Secrets, secrets, everywhere- but the more he unravels, the closer he thinks he is to being free, the more Jack finds himself linked to forces outside his control and events he barely remembers, stuck in a fictional universe where, it would seem, everyone is against him. ___ Highest ranks that I have no idea how this thing received- #2 thriller #3 mystery #4 fourthwall #5 breakstereotypes #8 masks #16 projectsuper #143 humour ...among others. Thanks a lot, guys! :D
