The protagonist (you) isn't the happiest person in the world. You're an outcast, a loner. You lost everything before you were adopted by US!Toriel and made friends with the skelebros and Chara. But even with your new family, life wasn't perfect. One day, your school bullies take it too far... I am doing my best to keep it entirely gender neutral, the pronouns I'm using are they/them, and if I slip up please let me know. You also probably won't see descriptions of yourself very often, and when there are, it will be like, soaked, beaten, bruised, flushed, ect.

100 years after the tragic events of Dreamtale, the two brothers continue a war of hate and love. Any AU unfortunate enough to get in the way of the darker brother's path is either conquered or destroyed. Your universe, Recoveryswap, just so happens to be in the most recent crossfire.
