Chrollo Lucilfer, Feitan and Shalnark are returning from a small mission and stumble across what appears to be a dead body only about ten miles from Meteor City. Upon closer inspection they notice the life has not quite left the body. Taking her back to their base they nurse her back to health and notice an unusually large amount of aura excreting from her body. Once she tells them her story and train her they set off on a mission to test her and see if she truly is ready to leave everything she knows behind. Y/N is the daughter of a very powerful king. Uvo takes her to Chrollo and she becomes a part of the phantom troupe. He notices the closer he gets to the base the shorter the string becomes. What, will they do to her? WIll Chrollo expect her?

(This book is old as heck and VERY cringey.) Chrollo took in this girl that seemed innocent to everyone else. She was forced to stay by him and him alone. She didn't want to be there but she had no choice, no freedom, no friends, and no chance of seeing the light of day ever again. Until this group of crazy bandits thinks they could take the troupe down, Chrollo was nowhere to be seen, Y/n took the chance to run. She had finally been free from that hell hole. She never gotten a spider tattoo because she was always so stubborn and fought back, Chrollo knew how strong she actually was and knew she was faking that she didn't know how to fight. He wasn't scared, Y/n isn't stronger than him. She was always so scared to fight him. A-Pro Hunter scared to fight, ever since then she promised she would get stronger. At the Phantom Troupe, they were all searching for her. But it seemed like she disappeared out of nowhere. Chrollo didn't want to give up but had to for the sake of the Troupe's survival. A few years later, again, she forgets about everything that has happened and goes back to being a Hunter but always kept her promise. Late at night, she walked past a man that seemed familiar to her, again, she was too scared to fight back. Not knowing the reason she just ran, she was strong but HE was still stronger. "You choose to run instead to fight? Of Course, You're Scared." There will be lemons later in the story.
