The Castle is old. Malfunctions are to be expected. Air locks spontaneously opening, attacking food, false alarms in the middle of sex... Actually, Lance is sure that last one was Allura's doing. But the malfunctions seem to be increasing in frequency and magnitude, until Coran gets left alone. Lance ignores the slew of emotional problems and increasing number of malfunctions in favor of rebuilding his web of spies to aid his sister and Team Voltron's fight against Zarkon and the Galra Empire. Pity no one thought to mention constantly brushing small problems aside doesn't make them go away. They stay and fester and grow into a poison that devours the mind and soul from the inside out resulting in emotional outbursts that could spell the end to not one, but two paladins. Meanwhile, Iverson is trying to juggle being a whistle blower and finding out the truth of what happened to two cadets who vanished on his watch. Even if it means breaking the law.
