Best friends since the age of 4, Reef Knight and Ivette Winter spent every day together. They were proven inseparable, neighbours, platonic soulmates. Where you saw one, the other wouldn't be far behind. However, Junior year changed it all. Reef's popularity soared through the roof, I mean, who expected any different when he'd become blessed with looks that "rivaled Adonis himself". Captain of the Oakvale soccer team, he found himself welcomed amongst a new cluster of friends, meaning Ivy was left behind, in the dust. If given time, perhaps their bond could be salvageable, something Ivette had wished for, despite the betrayal. And if time is all they need, then they have plenty of it after Reef moves in with Ivy's family due to his own family issues during the first year of college. The obvious outcome of this situation; Ivette and Reef continue to hate each other's guts until they grow old. Scenario number two recognises their friendship making a comeback. And, scenario three, albeit largely unrealistic, what's the chance of them becoming something more? In the end, what could possibly go wrong living in a house with your hot ex-bestfriend? (Book 1 of the Greenfield U series)

"What the hell do you want Greyson?" I shout unlocking the door. It's raining heavily so I don't even bother hiding the irritation laced in my voice. I swing the door open about to continue my rant when I'm brought to a halt by his lips crashing down on mine. In one swift motion his arms are around my waist pulling my body flush against his, closing all distance between us. I don't even hesitate to kiss him back, all thoughts from a second ago withering away as I melt into his embrace. The kiss is electric, his lips bringing me to life ; igniting me in the best way possible. I snake my arms up to the nape of his neck grabbing his hair, kissing him hard with so much emotion. In response, he kisses me even harder moaning into my mouth before gliding his tongue hungrily against mine. It takes a while to register that I'm standing in my doorway kissing Greyson freaking Reynolds, the guy I hated from before I can remember. He pulls back breathlessly, and I open my eyes as he finally replies to the question I forgot I asked. "You."

"Did you tell someone we fucked?" I spit and he raises his eyebrow at me. "Well!" "No what the fuck who said that?" A frown takes over his beautiful face and I feel like he's lying. "You apparently. Just leave me alone," I frown and wait for him to walk in front of me so I know where I'm going. "No Lila, I didn't fucking say that. When are they even talking about?" "At the party." I spit and he scoffs. "I went to bed after you did so it's fucking bullshit. Don't listen to those jealous whores, there just mad because I talk to you and not them." He replies and I shake my head. "If talking to you means people are going to slut shame me I'd rather just not talk to you." I mumble and he scoffs. "Your kidding right? Your going to let one fucking rumour stop us from talking?" He shouts and I breathe in deeply.
